ABOUT MAX:

Max Grierson is a highly regarded artist with many years experience in printmaking, drawing and painting specialising in architecture and landscapes.

In 2020 Max created a unique collection of drawings inspired by Athens, the Greek countryside and the Aegean islands. Although Max does not speak Greek and is not of Greek descent, he has a special relationship with Greece and his love for the country, and passion for Greek mythology, influences his art like no other place in the world.

He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions. One of Max’s works was included in the Australian Print Survey which toured Australian state galleries and he has an entry in McCulloch’s Encyclopaedia of Australian Art (1994). Max was head of the Art Faculty at Caulfield Grammar School.
