ABOUT LUCY:

Lucy loves painting people and animals and is developing her style using colour and a ‘less is more’ approach. She predominantly paints with acrylics but also uses oils.

She uses spray paints when working on large boards for laneways around Melbourne.

She has turned her native Australian animals series into prints and greetings cards and is developing a homewares range starting with tea towels and mugs.

Lucy attended the University of the Arts in London and studied painting, photography and sculpture. She worked as an Art Director in television, filming numerous TV shows, commercials and music videos.

She now lives in the Yarra Valley with her husband and two young daughters.

Her artwork ‘Josephine and Me’ was shortlisted in the Spring/Summer Art Prize hosted by Stones of the Yarra Valley in February 2021. Lucy is currently working with Women's Health East on their 'Beyond the Studio: Advocating for Women's Inclusion, Visibility and Safety through Public Art’ Project.

Lucy has just written a children’s book ‘The Puffanditsup and the Race Against Extinction’
