YARRA VALLEY ARTS AGM 2023
Yarra Valley Arts Annual General Meeting (AGM) is a great opportunity to meet with other members, chat with the board and celebrate our achievements from 1 October 2022 to 30 September 2023.

When: Tuesday 21 November - 6.30 for 7pm start
Where: The MEMO, Nan Francis Room, 235 Maroondah Hwy, Healesville
At the AGM all Board positions will be vacated and a new Board elected. To vote and to be eligible to sit on the Board, Members need to be current – i.e. paid up. The Board is responsible for governance of the organisation and high level decision making.
Committee/Board positions are:
President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and maximum of 9 Ordinary Committee members.
Completed forms & appologies (if you cannot attend) must be returned to the Secretary prior or at the AGM (details on forms)

As a member organisation we strongly encourage members to contribute to the events and activities of our organisation. This makes a stronger and more resilient organisation and benefits us all.
There are other ways to contribute to the success and direction of YAVA that don't necessarily require you to be on the board. For instance, some of the opportunities for getting involved through volunteering are:
be part of small teams to co-ordinate events eg Open Studios, YVA/Yering Station Sculpture Exhibition
assist in the gallery
assist with volunteer organising
setting up exhibitions
assist with workshops
assist with social media
assist with fundraising
liaising with our partners
