I am inspired by the metaphysical, mythological and spiritual aspects of being human

ABOUT FAERIE:

I am a multi-disciplinary visionary artist living and practicing in the beautiful Yarra Valley on a tree filled property near the mighty Birrarung River.

I am inspired by the metaphysical, mythological and spiritual aspects of being human and the beauty and wonder of the natural world. I like to explore the liminal worlds where art and spirit join, overlap, blur and merge. Major themes in my work explore the inner landscape of dreams and visualisations as a parallel world, symbiotic, influential to and by this experience of life.

I love to explore and express this inspiration in paint, illustration and small sculptures of clay and found things. Painting and creating with my hands is the way I translate the inner vision to an outer reality – it is a way to share the magik I perceive with others.

I moved to the gorgeous Yarra Valley in 2022 and I am currently converting an old shed in our garden into my dream art studio Xanadu.
