ABOUT AMANDA:

Amanda Lithgow is primarily a Graphite artist creating portraits of animals. Horses and dogs have been her main subjects, with work commissioned both locally and Internationally. Amanda completed a Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) at Chisholm Institute of Technology, majoring in Drawing and Printmaking. She studied Photorealism, through which she was able to achieve form on a two-dimensional surface. Her great understanding and feeling for an animal, with its texture and personality, is what comes through her work.

Amanda has lived and worked on the family farm in the Yarra Valley all her life where she is in constant contact with animals. 

Recently she has also been enjoying capturing wildlife, photographing animals, and then bringing them to life on the drawing board.
